Tazma Medical and Surgical Specialty Center Launches First Local Mission for Free Cardiac Surgery in Jigjiga
-In a groundbreaking initiative, Tazma Medical and Surgical Specialty Center is preparing to carry out Ethiopia’s first-ever local mission providing free open-heart surgeries.
This historic initiative, led entirely by local medical professionals, will take place at Jigjiga University Sheik Hassen Yabare Referral Hospital, where life-saving cardiac surgeries will be performed on both pediatric and adult patients.
-Running from October 16 to 21, 2024, the mission aims to address the pressing need for accessible cardiac care in Ethiopia, particularly in underserved regions like Jigjiga. Tazma Medical and Surgical Specialty Center will not only provide skilled medical personnel but also the necessary consumables for the surgeries and post-operative care.
-Tazma is committed to the belief that everyone should have access to essential cardiac treatment, regardless of location or financial situation. This initiative is designed to bring advanced cardiac care to patients who currently have limited access to such specialized services.
The mission in Jigjiga marks just the beginning, as Tazma plans to extend these free open-heart surgery missions to various regions across Ethiopia, ensuring more patients can benefit from life-saving cardiac care.

ይህ የልብ ቀዶ ህክምና ዘመቻ የህፃናት እና የአዋቂ የልብ ህሙማንን ህይወት ለመታደግ ያለመ ታሪካዊ የበጎ አድራጎት ተግባር ሲሆን በጅጅጋ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ሸይኽ ሀሰን ያባሬ ሪፈራል ሆስፒታል ከጥቅምት 6 እስከ 10, 2017 ዓ.ም ድረስ ይካሄዳል።
የበጎ አድራጎት ተግባሩም በጅጅጋ ይጀመር እንጂ ለወደፊት በተለያዩ የክልል ከተሞች ተጠናክሮ እንደሚቀጥል ለማሳወቅ እንወዳለን፡፡
