A successful surgical procedure was carried out at Hawassa University Teaching and Referral Hospital on a 23-year-old female patient who had ingested foreign bodies.

The patient, who has a documented history of psychiatric illness, presented with symptoms persisting three days before the intervention.

An exploratory laparotomy, enterotomy, and esophagoscopy foreign body removal were done
The patient is now in a good post-operative condition.
